Our senior management are responsible for developing and mentoring the team and keeping the company running towards the future.
Dean has been with the company since 2004. He believes in an open door policy, and is a mentor to all members of staff. Dean’s vision is to make Shine! a place where people have a voice, share their views and help grow the business. For Dean, the buzzword at Shine is Family. He is partial to a game of squash or playing 5-a-side football.
Looking after the daily operation of Shine, Richard is an integral part of the company, with the organisational skills to make sure nothing is missed and the company is in fine running order. Richard organises a weekly game of 5-a-side football for members of staff.
(UK) Quality Assurance Manager
Rob joined us in 2006 and has been instrumental in the development of Shine. One of the most important aspects of the company is quality and Rob is the figurehead to ensure that the technicians maintain the very highest quality of repairs. If you’re looking for a running partner then Rob is your man – he can run a 10k without breaking a sweat!
As Logistics Manager, Craig oversees the system – making sure that the work is distributing correctly among the technicians and that the technicians have efficient drives between jobs. Craig is crucial in the development of the Shine Booking System where he is helping develop ground-breaking AI technology. Craig is a self-confessed foodie and enjoys beating Dean at Squash and a game of 5-a-side.
Training Academy Manager
James runs the Training Academy where all of our new starters are nurtured under his supervision – in everything from their paint techniques to their customer services skills. James also supports existing technicians in their development in pursuit of the perfect job on a customer’s driveway. James has a passion for fair weather motorcycling and enjoys a game of 5-a-side football.
Training Academy (CRO)
Dan mentors all new and existing technicians with the understanding of Shine’s purpose, culture and values. He does this by showing them how important they are to Shine. Dan is very much a family man and enjoys spending time with his two boys. He likes socialising with his friends and is currently training for a half marathon.
Managing the technicians in the central part of the UK, Steve has been with the company since 2011. Being a Sector Manager, he spends his time offering vital support to his team out on the road. In his spare time Steve volunteers at the Northamptonshire Search and Rescue.
Scott is the Southern Sector Manager and has been with Shine since 2008. He offers support in the daily challenges that his technicians face out on the road. He aims to be a mentor to all of his staff in their work and their personal life. Scott has been known to enjoy the odd game of snooker followed by a swift pint or two.
Rob is the Northern Sector Manager. His daily tasks are to ensure that the technicians’ working day runs as smoothly as possible. Rob has created a full support network within his team – all of his technicians are willing to help each other in their day-to-day roles. Rob is a prolific cycler, having achieved 100 miles in one day! He also has a keen interest in Rugby.
Head of HR
Katie, as head of HR, deals with all aspects of the Human Resource Department. This includes daily requests from all staff and processing all new starters that join the company. Katie enjoys tackling a 5k after work, and hopes to soon complete a half-marathon.
As the Office Supervisor, Katie deals with the everyday running of the office which includes booking in customers and supporting the team out in the field. Katie enjoys spending her spare time getting stuck into a good book and competing with Mary Berry’s skills at baking. Katie also enjoys taking part in the weekly Shine office circuit training.
Liam is the Managing Accountant. When most people hear the word accountant they turn off. But with Liam in our team he brings his youth and his vibrant energy to energise all things money. We can always bank on Liam to keep the numbers in check. In his spare time Liam enjoys all things football, either joining in on our weekly 5-a-side, playing 11-a-side at the weekend or watching premier league football.
